Selena has been with the practice since 2008. She graduated from FAU with several honors in 2009 with a major in Biological and Premedical sciences. I was fortunate to have added her to my practice in 2008 as an Optometric Technician. She brings to the practice a sincere desire to help others; she is extremely professional and caring. She’s proficient in all aspects of the practice and knows how to perform and read our advanced technology. Selena will always go out of her way to make any patient feel special and answer all questions and concerns. I am so fortunate to have her in the practice and celebrate her 10th year with us. Anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her will immediately know she is truly one of a kind.
Sebastian is the newest member of our team of Optometric Technicians. He came highly recommended after completing his Optometric Technician training at Mcfatter College. He is currently attending Broward College in addition to his busy work schedule. His long-term goals are to become a Pediatrician or Physician Assistant in a Pediatric setting. He brings to us fresh views on practice change to make each patient experience more pleasant. Sebastian quickly learned the nuances on how to verify insurance, perform work-ups before I see the patient and perform advanced testing with our state-of-the-art technology. Sebastian is truly a caring young man, whom I am fortunate to have on my team. I am eager to watch him continue to develop his skills. Although I know his long-term goals are much higher, I look forward to watching him succeed and achieve them. His calm demeanor and sincerity will make you feel confident you are in good hands. Sebastian will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. He is bilingual (Spanish/English) which is a great benefit to my large Hispanic population of patients.
