Dr. Phillip K. Haiman

Dr. Haiman graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1999.  He subsequently completed his residency at the Boston Veterans Administration which specialized in diseases of the eye such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.  After residency he worked at New England Eye Center - one of our Country's top 5 Ophthalmology Centers, in the position as Director of Optometry.  This referral site gave him advanced experience in glaucoma, cornea diseases and hard-to-fit contact lenses.  He relocated back to his home state of Florida in 2002.  In 2002 he started his practice within the Wal*Mart vision center AND at the same time was an Adjunct Faculty Member at Nova College of Optometry.  He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and Sunrise Chamber of Commerce.  He is availabe for your comprehensive eye care needs and LASIK co-management.

 

 

Dr. Kathryn Alvaro-Estevez

Dr. Estevez has been helping South Florida see better for the past 10 years.  While studying to receive her bachelor's degree she began training as an Optometric technician. After graduating in 2000 from Barry University, she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry Degree with Honors at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. During her professional training, Dr. Estevez had the opportunity to train at Bascom Palmer Eye Instiute in Miami, ranked as the number one eye hospital in our country. After obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree she opened her own private practice in Miami where she practiced for 3 years.  Dr. Estevez and her family now reside in Broward County where is committed to providing quality eye care to her community. She is available for comprehensive eye exams, all types of contact lens exams, red eyes and the treatment and diagnosis of ocular diseases.
